It is hard to argue that two of the most exciting teams in the NFL made it to the Super Bowl this year.
The one consistency in the National Football Conference division with regards to Super Bowl appearances is… well, the deficiency of consistency. In the past decade, no team has made it to the Super Bowl two times back to back. In reality, in the last decade, no National Football Conference football team has made it to the Super Bowl two times, even in non-consecutive years. This can wreak havoc on preseason and postseason wagers on which team will make it to the Big Game in any given year.
Wild Card Weekend day 2, Sunday January 9th, features a fight for the AFC, with the AFC North 2nd place team the Baltimore Ravens, 12-4, on the road to Kansas City to face the first place team in the AFC West the Chiefs, 10-6. The Chiefs went 2-4 in the division this regular season. Sports book shows the Ravens as the minus 3 point road favorites this Sunday with the total over under listed at 41.
